Coca Cola 75th Anniversary Silver Artbars

Between 1975 and 1982, Coca Cola bottlers across the country commemorated the 75th anniversary of Coca Cola. The World Wide Mint in Atlanta, the home of Coca Cola, produced almost all of the commemorative one ounce silver bars in limited quantities for a significant number of these bottlers. Some bottlers arranged to have unique obverses and reverses, while others opted for a unique obverse and a common reverse. Most of the bars feature a Coke bottle on the obverse and Coke's 75th anniversary logo on the reverse. On those with similar reverse designs, the location of the bottler was incorporated into the circle around the logo (see close-ups below). These Coke bars are in mint, unused, undamaged condition. You may receive a different bar than the one pictured but all are in mint condition unless otherwise stated. As you can see from the number with a sold cart on it, Coke bars are extremely popular and many are quite rare. Our inventory of Coke bars is very low at this time but we add to them when we are able to acquire any. We have left images of the sold ones here so that one can see what bottlers / city were produced. Scroll on down to the middle of this page for the "Special" Coke bars I have available. Special Coca-Cola 75th Anniversary Commemorative Bars

Many thanks to Tom Mock for researching and publishing the "Coca-Cola Bottler's 75Th Anniversary Ingot and Round Guide Book". Much of the information I provide in this listing is taken from the Second Edition of January 2009. I would encourage every collector interested in Coke bars to purchase one of his books. Also providing reference material is the indispensable Archie Kidd's "Guidebook of Silver Artbars", 5th and 6th editions. I have collected Coke bars for almost 40 years and have decided to put my rarest pieces on the market so that others may have the joy of having one they may have not ever seen or had a chance to buy. I acquired a good many of these rare bars directly from J. Brian Skone, the former President of World Wide Mint. Mr. Skone was instrumental in setting up this program with the Coca Cola company. His cousin, Ron Johnson, created the dies from which these bars were produced. According to Tom's Guidebook, only 10-25 Proof ingots were produced for any particular bottler.

WWM's hallmark and One Troy Ounce .999 fine silver on left edge. Sold	COKE-4VI (1988) Salem & Rolla, Missouri Serving the Ozarks 1913-1988 Rare   This ingot is the last known issue commemorating Coke's 75th Anniversary. Unlike the earlier Coke bars, this bar was minted by the Crown Mint. Mintage is not known but they are hard to find.
